Saying Goodbye
Farewell flowers are a final gift: a celebration of life; a tribute to a loved one; a friend; someone who has touched us during their lifetime. They represent our love, our respect, our memories and tears - a final farewell.
My Mum passed away last year. She and I shared a love of flowers and we said goodbye with as many of her favourites as I could find: roses; cornflowers; eucalyptus; fern leaves and lots of "floaty flowers" as she used to call them. It was my last gift to her and I know she would have loved them.
